St. Christopher’s Cathedral, in the diocese of ‘Cyprus and the
Gulf’, is the Anglican church in Manama and is over 50 years
    old.  [ www.stchcathedral.org.bh ]. St. Christopher’s School,
the largest British curriculum school in Bahrain was founded in
the cathedral compound. More than 30 years ago the school

    locations away from Manama.

The National Evangelical Church (NEC) in Manama dates back
to the end of the nineteenth century when  Christian medical
missionaries of the Reformed Church of America came here.
Their legacy remains in both the NEC and the American
Mission Hospital located in the same compound.
to many different congregations catering for many nationalities
    and denominations.

Many years ago a multi-denominational Christian church
building was erected in Awali by BAPCO, the Bahrain oil
company. A number of denominations utilise this building
which although small has a very devotional atmosphere with a
    beautiful stained glass window.
